Kristine Kemp's exhibitions are often found in the divide between exhibition spaces and the surrounding climate, understood as the conditions in which a gallery is located, from the sun to the sidewalk and the people, animals and cell phones. 'Dead Space 55.714285 12.528986' refers to Google Maps' coordination of the northwest quarter around Bonamatic and specifically the latitude and longitude of Bispebjerg Crematorium. As a vanishing point relating to the digitally intensified battle for airspace.

Kristine Kemp (b. 1966) lives and works in Copenhagen and received the National Art Foundation's three-year work grant in 2017. During the period 2014-2019, she was professor and a transitional constituted rector at the Funen Academy of Fine Arts.

Her contributions to group exhibitions include 'Mutter Ich bin dumm' Institut Funder Bakke (Silkeborg) 'Reel to Real' Künstlerhaus FRISE (Hamburg) 'Before Normal: Concept after Concept' Museum of Contemporary Art (Roskilde) 'In These Great Times' Artist's House ( Oslo) and solo exhibitions in the Malmö Art Gallery (Malmö) Primer (Lyngby) Gallery Cubitt (London) and YEARS (Copenhagen).

Kristine Kemp studied at the Academy of Fine Arts in Copenhagen (1988-94) and in London at The Slade School of Fine Art and followed Marc Cousin's 'Fridays Lectures' at the Architectural Association (1993-1995).

Hendes bidrag til gruppeudstillinger inkluderer ‘Mutter Ich bin dumm’ Institut Funder Bakke (Silkeborg) 'Reel to Real’ Künstlerhaus FRISE (Hamborg) ‘Before Normal: Concept after Concept’ Museet for Samtidskunst (Roskilde) 'In These Great Times' Kunstnernes Hus (Oslo) og soloudstillinger i Mellanrummet Malmö Konsthall (Malmø) Primer (Lyngby) Gallery Cubitt (London) og YEARS (København).

Kristine Kemp har studeret på Kunstakademiet i København (1988-94) og i London på The Slade School of Fine Art og fulgt Marc Cousins ‘Fridays Lectures’ på Architectural Association (1993-1995).
